Toyota Fortuner Vehicles have gone through a strong increase in their selling price recently. There has been a considerable inflation in the selling prices for this model.
The retail prices for Toyota Fortuner cars have gone through a strong rise during the last 6 months. In October the price for a car is ₱ 1,635,425 increasing till ₱ 1,841,004 in November. During the following two months (December, January) the average selling price rose somewhat going from ₱ 1,738,214.5 to ₱ 1,843,704. The average price has had spectacular rise of 143 % with an average price of ₱ 1,790,959.25 during the previous 4 months and ₱ 4,360,767 during the most recent months in February and March.
The average price for Toyota Fortuner has had a strong rise in recent years. Between 2003 and 2019, the average price is ₱ 1,040,571.25. There was a significant inflation of the average price in 2003 (₱ 698,333) moving up till (₱ 2,108,759)in 2019. During the next two years (2020, 2021) the price for the aforementioned model has gone up strongly a 56 %. During the last two years, prices in the car industry have gone up 6 % compared to the average values for the previous 4 years. This conclusion was reached from studying the prices for the the preceding four years in previous sample (₱ 1,727,022) and the the last two years that were studied (2022, 2023) with a price of ₱ 1,828,408.5.
