The retail prices for Toyota Prius cars have gone through a strong rise during the last 6 months. During the first month analyzed in October the average price was ₱ 365,000. November went through a strong inflation with a rise in the price till ₱ 683,400. During the following two months (December, January) the average selling price experienced a noticeable rise, going up 25 % from ₱ 524,200 to ₱ 657,083.5. The average price has had spectacular rise of 39 % with an average price of ₱ 590,641.75 during the previous 4 months and ₱ 819,241 during the most recent months in February and March.
The average price for Toyota Prius has had a strong rise in recent years. Between 2005 and 2019, the average price is ₱ 664,464.25. There was a significant inflation of the average price in 2005 (₱ 117,500) moving up till (₱ 2,101,571)in 2019.
