Ford Lynx Vehicles have experienced a considerable decrease in their selling price recently. This model has gone through a strong reduction in its selling price.
The selling price for Ford Lynx cars has had a strong depreciation during the last 6 months we have studied. In July the average price per vehicle is ₱ 245,413. During August the price went trough a strong deflation till ₱ 140,252. The following two months the selling price went through a strong reduction of -24 % compared to the previous two months studied. In the last two, the price has gone through a -14 % devaluation compared to the previous average values going down from ₱ 169,920.25 to ₱ 146,578 during November and December.
The average price for Ford Lynx has had a strong rise in recent years. Between "before 2000" and 2001, the average price is ₱ 123,375. There was a significant inflation of the average price in "before 2000" (₱ 89,500) moving up till (₱ 170,000)in 2001. During the next two years (2002, 2003) the price for the aforementioned model has gone up strongly a 30 %. During the last two years, prices in the car industry have gone up 14 % compared to the average values for the previous 4 years. This conclusion was reached from studying the prices for the the preceding four years in previous sample (₱ 186,200) and the the last two years that were studied (2004, 2005) with a price of ₱ 212,250.
The graph that displays the price for Ford Lynx cars according to their mileage shows that those cars within a mileage range of "100,000 - 200,000" are the ones with the lowest price. They are 14 % more affordable than the average price (₱ 144,656). Next with a price of ₱ 148,917 and a mileage range of "less than 10,000" we would see the following vehicles. The mileage range for the most expensive cars is "less than 10,000". It is 3% more costly than the average market value followed by those vehicles with a mileage of "100,000 - 200,000" and a price of ₱ 125,125.
The graph showing the average price for the fuel type for Ford Lynx cars points out to "Diesel" as being the cheapest fuel type. It is 3 % less expensive than the average market price (₱ 144,656) followed by "Gasoline" priced at ₱ 147,118. On average the most expensive type of fuel is "Gasoline". It´s price is 2 % higher than the average market price followed by "Diesel" which costs ₱ 140,000.
