Ford Focus Vehicles have experienced a considerable decrease in their selling price recently. This model has gone through a strong reduction in its selling price.
The selling price for Ford Focus cars has had a strong depreciation during the last 6 months we have studied. The average price for August is ₱ 514,563. During September there was a slight reduction in the selling prices dropping till ₱ 451,038. The following two months the selling price went through a strong reduction of -30 % compared to the previous two months studied. During the last couple of months, the average price has hardly changed, remaining the same going from ₱ 410,765.75 to ₱ 409,052.5 during December and January.
The average price for Ford Focus has had a strong rise in recent years. Between 2005 and 2013, the average price is ₱ 302,854.22. There was a significant inflation of the average price in 2005 (₱ 186,394) moving up till (₱ 620,667)in 2013. During the next two years (2014, 2015) the price for the aforementioned model has gone up strongly a 39 %. During the last two years, prices in the car industry have experienced a depreciation of -7 % compared to the average prices for the previous 4 years. This has been obtained from prices from the the previous four years in a previous sample (₱ 395,427) and the the last two years analyzed (2016, 2017) with a price of ₱ 368,375.
The graph that displays the price for Ford Focus cars according to their mileage shows that those cars within a mileage range of "100,000 - 200,000" are the ones with the lowest price. They are 42 % more affordable than the average price (₱ 449,224). Next with a price of ₱ 278,912 and a mileage range of "50,000 - 100,000" we would see the following vehicles. The mileage range for the most affordable cars is "less than 10,000". It is 21% less expensive than the average market value followed by those cars with a mileage of "25,000 - 50,000" priced at ₱ 354,615.
The graph showing the average price for the fuel type for Ford Focus cars points out to "Diesel" as being the cheapest fuel type. It is 47 % less expensive than the average market price (₱ 449,224) followed by "Gasoline" priced at ₱ 426,336. On average the cheapest type of fuel is "Gasoline". It´s price is 5 % more affordable than the average market value followed by "Diesel" with a price of ₱ 239,719.
