Ford Focus Vehicles have gone through a strong increase in their selling price recently. There has been a considerable inflation in the selling prices for this model.
The retail prices for Ford Focus cars have gone through a strong rise during the last 6 months. During the first month analyzed in October the average price was ₱ 389,150. November went through a strong inflation with a rise in the price till ₱ 482,237. During the following two months (December, January) the average selling price rose somewhat going from ₱ 435,693.5 to ₱ 481,399.5. During the last couple of months, the average price has hardly changed, remaining the same going from ₱ 458,546.5 to ₱ 450,510 during February and March.
The average price for Ford Focus has had a strong rise in recent years. Between 2005 and 2013, the average price is ₱ 282,653.66. There was a significant inflation of the average price in 2005 (₱ 187,131) moving up till (₱ 382,293)in 2013. During the next two years (2014, 2015) the price for the aforementioned model has gone up strongly a 57 %. During the last two years, prices in the car industry have gone up 14 % compared to the average values for the previous 4 years. This conclusion was reached from studying the prices for the the preceding four years in previous sample (₱ 517,269.75) and the the last two years that were studied (2016, 2017) with a price of ₱ 591,881.
The graph that displays the price for Ford Focus cars according to their mileage shows that those cars within a mileage range of "100,000 - 200,000" are the ones with the lowest price. They are 58 % more affordable than the average price (₱ 597,462). Next with a price of ₱ 387,200 and a mileage range of "50,000 - 100,000" we would see the following vehicles. The mileage range for the most affordable cars is "10,000 - 25,000". It is 11% less expensive than the average market value followed by those cars with a mileage of "25,000 - 50,000" priced at ₱ 435,374.
The graph showing the average price for the fuel type for Ford Focus cars points out to "Diesel" as being the cheapest fuel type. It is 66 % less expensive than the average market price (₱ 597,462) followed by "Gasoline" priced at ₱ 314,565. On average the cheapest type of fuel is "Gasoline". It´s price is 47 % more affordable than the average market value followed by "Diesel" with a price of ₱ 205,656.
