Ford Ecosport Vehicles have gone through a strong increase in their selling price recently. There has been a considerable inflation in the selling prices for this model.
The retail prices for Ford Ecosport cars have gone through a strong rise during the last 6 months. During the first month analyzed in October the average price was ₱ 571,011. November went through a strong inflation with a rise in the price till ₱ 739,362. During the following two months (December, January) the average selling price rose somewhat going from ₱ 655,186.5 to ₱ 737,806. During the last couple of months, the average price has hardly changed, remaining the same going from ₱ 696,496.25 to ₱ 692,125 during February and March.
The average price for Ford Ecosport has had a strong rise in recent years. Between 2014 and 2017, the average price is ₱ 576,157.5. There was a significant inflation of the average price in 2014 (₱ 461,356) moving up till (₱ 688,087)in 2017. During the next two years the average price(₱ 602,167) has hardly changed, remaining at a constant value compared to the previous period. During the last two years, prices in the car industry have gone up 10 % compared to the average values for the previous 4 years. This conclusion was reached from studying the prices for the the preceding four years in previous sample (₱ 669,143) and the the last two years that were studied (2020, 2021) with a price of ₱ 736,119.
The graph that displays the price for Ford Ecosport cars according to their mileage shows that those cars within a mileage range of "50,000 - 100,000" are the ones with the lowest price. They are 36 % more affordable than the average price (₱ 856,425). Next with a price of ₱ 651,556 and a mileage range of "100,000 - 200,000" we would see the following vehicles. The mileage range for the most affordable cars is "less than 10,000". It is 9% less expensive than the average market value followed by those cars with a mileage of "25,000 - 50,000" priced at ₱ 701,975.
The graph showing the average price for the fuel type for Ford Ecosport cars points out to "Diesel" as being the cheapest fuel type. It is 54 % less expensive than the average market price (₱ 856,425) followed by "Gasoline" priced at ₱ 451,083. On average the cheapest type of fuel is "Gasoline". It´s price is 47 % more affordable than the average market value followed by "Diesel" with a price of ₱ 391,818.
