Mazda 2 Vehicles have gone through a slight decrease in their retail price recently. This model has gone through an overall fall in its selling price.
The selling price for Mazda 2 cars has fallen during the last 6 months we have analyzed. The average price for July is ₱ 409,920. During August there was a slight reduction in the selling prices dropping till ₱ 378,132. The following two months (September, October) the selling price went through a devaluation of -6 percent in the average selling price compared to the previous two months analyzed. The average price has risen 6 % during the last two months. This result was obtained based on the price for the first four months (PRECIO1!) and the price (₱ 404,794.5) during November and December.
The average price for Mazda 2 has had a strong rise in recent years. Between 2011 and 2012, the average price is ₱ 277,300. There was a significant inflation of the average price in 2011 (₱ 254,000) moving up till (₱ 300,600)in 2012. During the next two years (2013, 2014) the price for the aforementioned model has gone up strongly a 41 %. During the last two years, prices in the car industry have gone up 10 % compared to the average values for the previous 4 years. This conclusion was reached from studying the prices for the the preceding four years in previous sample (₱ 432,906.25) and the the last two years that were studied (2015, 2016) with a price of ₱ 475,896.
The graph that displays the price for Mazda 2 cars according to their mileage shows that those cars within a mileage range of "50,000 - 100,000" are the ones with the lowest price. They are 18 % more affordable than the average price (₱ 416,114). Next with a price of ₱ 414,375 and a mileage range of "less than 10,000" we would see the following vehicles. The mileage range for the most expensive cars is "10,000 - 25,000". It is 29% more costly than the average market value followed by those vehicles with a mileage of "25,000 - 50,000" and a price of ₱ 481,833.
The graph showing the average price for the fuel type for Mazda 2 cars points out to "Diesel" as being the cheapest fuel type. It is 53 % less expensive than the average market price (₱ 416,114) followed by "Gasoline" priced at ₱ 436,647. On average the most expensive type of fuel is "Gasoline". It´s price is 5 % higher than the average market price followed by "Diesel" which costs ₱ 197,500.
