Honda Vehicles have gone through a strong increase in their selling price recently. There has been a considerable inflation in the selling prices for this model.
The retail prices for Honda cars have gone through a strong rise during the last 6 months. The average price in November was of ₱ 2,089,975. This price hardly went through any changes and remained at ₱ 2,066,287 during December. The following two months (January, February) the selling price went through a devaluation of -14 percent in the average selling price compared to the previous two months analyzed. The average price has had spectacular rise of 105 % with an average price of ₱ 1,934,593.5 during the previous 4 months and ₱ 3,966,994 during the most recent months in March and April.
The average price for Honda has had a strong rise in recent years. Between "before 2000" and 2019, the average price is ₱ 518,111.09. There was a significant inflation of the average price in "before 2000" (₱ 258,175) moving up till (₱ 850,731)in 2019. During the next two years (2020, 2021) the price for the aforementioned model has gone up strongly a 67 %. During the last two years, prices in the car industry have gone up 14 % compared to the average values for the previous 4 years. This conclusion was reached from studying the prices for the the preceding four years in previous sample (₱ 1,004,354.5) and the the last two years that were studied (2022, 2023) with a price of ₱ 1,141,707.
The graph that displays the price for Honda cars according to their mileage shows that those cars within a mileage range of "more than 200,000" are the ones with the lowest price. They are 93 % more affordable than the average price (₱ 3,576,226). Next with a price of ₱ 534,853 and a mileage range of "100,000 - 200,000" we would see the following vehicles. The mileage range for the most affordable cars is "less than 10,000". It is 35% less expensive than the average market value followed by those cars with a mileage of "10,000 - 25,000" priced at ₱ 1,587,229.
The graph showing the average price for the fuel type for Honda cars points out to "Hybrid" as being the cheapest fuel type. It is 89 % less expensive than the average market price (₱ 3,576,226) followed by "Gas" priced at ₱ 407,000. On average the cheapest type of fuel is "Gasoline". It´s price is 84 % more affordable than the average market value followed by "Diesel" with a price of ₱ 447,942.
The graph showing the average price for Honda cars displays those with 2 doors as the cheapest ones. They are 96 % more affordable than the average price (₱ 3,576,226). These are followed by those with 4 doors with an average price of ₱ 276,275. Cars with the lowest average price have 3 !doors and are 63 % cheaper than the average followed by those with 5 doors with a selling price of ₱ 382,213.
