Toyota Fortuner Vehicles have gone through a strong increase in their selling price recently. There has been a considerable inflation in the selling prices for this model.
The retail prices for Toyota Fortuner cars have gone through a strong rise during the last 6 months. In February the price for a car is ₱ 1,481,013 increasing till ₱ 1,561,588 in March. The average selling price has remained fairly constant during the following two months, going from ₱ 1,521,300.5 to ₱ 1,542,693.5. The average price has had spectacular rise of 32 % with an average price of ₱ 1,531,997 during the previous 4 months and ₱ 2,018,044.5 during the most recent months in June and July.
The average price for Toyota Fortuner has had a strong rise in recent years. Between 2005 and 2016, the average price is ₱ 626,224.5. There was a significant inflation of the average price in 2005 (₱ 391,233) moving up till (₱ 1,138,389)in 2016. During the next two years (2017, 2018) the price for the aforementioned model has gone up strongly a 111 %. During the last two years, prices in the car industry have gone through a strong rise of 42 % compared to the average values for the previous 4 years. This was taken from studying the prices for the the preceding four years in previous sample (₱ 2,278,418) and the the last two years that have been analyzed (2019, 2020) with a price of ₱ 3,236,041.5.
