Mitsubishi Lancer Vehicles have gone through a slight decrease in their retail price recently. This model has gone through an overall fall in its selling price.
The selling price for Mitsubishi Lancer cars has fallen during the last 6 months we have analyzed. In January the average price per vehicle is ₱ 647,562. During February the price went trough a strong deflation till ₱ 373,124. During the following two months (March, April) the average selling price experienced a noticeable rise, going up 20 % from ₱ 510,343 to ₱ 611,137. The average price has had spectacular rise of 24 % with an average price of ₱ 560,740 during the previous 4 months and ₱ 694,104 during the most recent months in May and June.
The average price for Mitsubishi Lancer has had a strong rise in recent years. Between "before 2000" and 2012, the average price is ₱ 249,831.72. There was a significant inflation of the average price in "before 2000" (₱ 120,163) moving up till (₱ 360,089)in 2012. During the next two years (2013, 2014) the price for the aforementioned model has gone up strongly a 148 %. During the last two years, prices in the car industry have experienced a depreciation of -14 % compared to the average prices for the previous 4 years. This has been obtained from prices from the the previous four years in a previous sample (₱ 543,090) and the the last two years analyzed (2015, 2016) with a price of ₱ 467,133.5.
