Mitsubishi Grandis Vehicles have gone through a slight decrease in their retail price recently. This model has gone through an overall fall in its selling price.
The selling price for Mitsubishi Grandis cars has fallen during the last 6 months we have analyzed. The average price in October was of ₱ 251,688. This price hardly went through any changes and remained at ₱ 240,050 during November. The following two months (December, January) the selling price went through a devaluation of -5 percent in the average selling price compared to the previous two months analyzed. In the last two months, the price has gone through a strong devaluation of -16 % compared to the 4 previous average values going down from ₱ 239,193.25 to ₱ 201,170.5.
The average price for Mitsubishi Grandis has gone down in recent years. During the first sample analyzed, going from "before 2000" to 2000, the average price was ₱ 173,750. Please take note of of the significant depreciation in the prices between "before 2000" (₱ 195,000) and 2000 (₱ 152,500). During the next two years (2005, 2006) the price for the aforementioned model has gone up strongly a 17 %. During the last two years, prices in the car industry have experienced a depreciation of -10 % compared to the average prices for the previous 4 years. This has been obtained from prices from the the previous four years in a previous sample (₱ 185,608.25) and the the last two years analyzed (2007, 2009) with a price of ₱ 167,466.5.
