Kia Sportage Vehicles have gone through a strong increase in their selling price recently. There has been a considerable inflation in the selling prices for this model.
The retail prices for Kia Sportage cars have gone through a strong rise during the last 6 months. The average price for September is ₱ 434,725. During October there was a slight reduction in the selling prices dropping till ₱ 410,838. During the following two months (November, December) the average selling price experienced a noticeable rise, going up 44 % from ₱ 422,781.5 to ₱ 607,706.5. During the last couple of months, the average price has hardly changed, remaining the same going from ₱ 515,244 to ₱ 503,153 during January and February.
The average price for Kia Sportage has had a strong rise in recent years. Between 2007 and 2011, the average price is ₱ 345,091.34. There was a significant inflation of the average price in 2007 (₱ 181,250) moving up till (₱ 571,167)in 2011. During the next two years (2012, 2013) the price for the aforementioned model has gone up strongly a 50 %. During the last two years, prices in the car industry have experienced a depreciation of -6 % compared to the average prices for the previous 4 years. This has been obtained from prices from the the previous four years in a previous sample (₱ 489,569.5) and the the last two years analyzed (2014, 2015) with a price of ₱ 462,250.

It´s price is 33 % higher than the average market price followed by "Diesel" which costs ₱ 319,000.
