Kia Picanto Vehicles have gone through a strong increase in their selling price recently. There has been a considerable inflation in the selling prices for this model.
The retail prices for Kia Picanto cars have gone through a strong rise during the last 6 months. During the first month analyzed in October the average price was ₱ 266,207. November went through a strong inflation with a rise in the price till ₱ 393,188. During the following two months (December, January) the average selling price experienced a noticeable rise, going up 19 % from ₱ 329,697.5 to ₱ 393,100.5. During the last couple of months, the average price has hardly changed, remaining the same going from ₱ 361,399 to ₱ 354,359 during February and March.
The average price for Kia Picanto has had a strong rise in recent years. Between 2005 and 2014, the average price is ₱ 207,509.09. There was a significant inflation of the average price in 2005 (₱ 152,375) moving up till (₱ 284,111)in 2014. During the next two years (2015, 2016) the price for the aforementioned model has gone up strongly a 48 %. During the last two years, prices in the car industry have gone up 11 % compared to the average values for the previous 4 years. This conclusion was reached from studying the prices for the the preceding four years in previous sample (₱ 345,454.25) and the the last two years that were studied (2017, 2018) with a price of ₱ 382,921.
The graph that displays the price for Kia Picanto cars according to their mileage shows that those cars within a mileage range of "100,000 - 200,000" are the ones with the lowest price. They are 60 % more affordable than the average price (₱ 442,738). Next with a price of ₱ 279,855 and a mileage range of "50,000 - 100,000" we would see the following vehicles. The mileage range for the most affordable cars is "less than 10,000". It is 7% less expensive than the average market value followed by those cars with a mileage of "25,000 - 50,000" priced at ₱ 348,630.
The graph showing the average price for the fuel type for Kia Picanto cars points out to "Diesel" as being the cheapest fuel type. It is 64 % less expensive than the average market price (₱ 442,738) followed by "Gasoline" priced at ₱ 205,432. On average the cheapest type of fuel is "Gasoline". It´s price is 54 % more affordable than the average market value followed by "Diesel" with a price of ₱ 160,947.
