Kia Carnival Vehicles have gone through a strong increase in their selling price recently. There has been a considerable inflation in the selling prices for this model.
The retail prices for Kia Carnival cars have gone through a strong rise during the last 6 months. During the first month analyzed in October the average price was ₱ 550,955. November went through a strong inflation with a rise in the price till ₱ 677,063. During the following two months (December, January) the average selling price experienced a noticeable rise, going up 19 % from ₱ 614,009 to ₱ 729,312.5. The average price has had spectacular rise of 52 % with an average price of ₱ 671,660.75 during the previous 4 months and ₱ 1,022,528 during the most recent months in February and March.
The average price for Kia Carnival has had a strong rise in recent years. Between 2000 and 2015, the average price is ₱ 480,282.19. There was a significant inflation of the average price in 2000 (₱ 189,000) moving up till (₱ 1,031,600)in 2015. During the next two years (2016, 2017) the price for the aforementioned model has gone up strongly a 169 %. During the last two years, prices in the car industry have gone through a strong rise of 19 % compared to the average values for the previous 4 years. This was taken from studying the prices for the the preceding four years in previous sample (₱ 1,596,023) and the the last two years that have been analyzed (2018, 2019) with a price of ₱ 1,897,900.
