Kia Carens Vehicles have gone through a strong increase in their selling price recently. There has been a considerable inflation in the selling prices for this model.
The retail prices for Kia Carens cars have gone through a strong rise during the last 6 months. In February the price for a car is ₱ 295,486 increasing till ₱ 311,417 in March. During the following two months (April, May) the average selling price experienced a noticeable rise, going up 24 % from ₱ 303,451.5 to ₱ 376,273. The average price has had spectacular rise of 34 % with an average price of ₱ 339,862.25 during the previous 4 months and ₱ 456,097 during the most recent months in June and July.
The average price for Kia Carens has had a strong rise in recent years. Between 2007 and 2009, the average price is ₱ 274,500. There was a significant inflation of the average price in 2007 (₱ 212,125) moving up till (₱ 290,000)in 2009. During the next two years (2011, 2012) the price for the aforementioned model has gone up strongly a 51 %. During the last two years, prices in the car industry have gone through a strong rise of 41 % compared to the average values for the previous 4 years. This was taken from studying the prices for the the preceding four years in previous sample (₱ 708,098.25) and the the last two years that have been analyzed (2013, 2014) with a price of ₱ 1,001,696.5.
