Hyundai Grand Starex Vehicles have gone through a strong increase in their selling price recently. There has been a considerable inflation in the selling prices for this model.
The retail prices for Hyundai Grand Starex cars have gone through a strong rise during the last 6 months. In November the price for a car is ₱ 1,132,937 increasing till ₱ 1,275,513 in December. During the following two months (January, February) the average selling price rose somewhat going from ₱ 1,204,225 to ₱ 1,296,637.5. The average price has had spectacular rise of 19 % with an average price of ₱ 1,250,431.25 during the previous 4 months and ₱ 1,483,775 during the most recent months in March and April.
The average price for Hyundai Grand Starex has had a strong rise in recent years. Between 2008 and 2015, the average price is ₱ 644,360.75. There was a significant inflation of the average price in 2008 (₱ 372,824) moving up till (₱ 1,280,143)in 2015. During the next two years (2016, 2017) the price for the aforementioned model has gone up strongly a 56 %. During the last two years, prices in the car industry have gone through a strong rise of 32 % compared to the average values for the previous 4 years. This was taken from studying the prices for the the preceding four years in previous sample (₱ 1,470,714.75) and the the last two years that have been analyzed (2019, 2020) with a price of ₱ 1,935,298.5.
