Volvo Vehicles have experienced a considerable decrease in their selling price recently. This model has gone through a strong reduction in its selling price.
The selling price for Volvo cars has had a strong depreciation during the last 6 months we have studied. In October the average price per vehicle is ₱ 543,914. During November the price went trough a strong deflation till ₱ 461,584. The following two months the selling price went through a strong reduction of -38 % compared to the previous two months studied. The average price has had spectacular rise of 47 % with an average price of ₱ 406,850.75 during the previous 4 months and ₱ 598,561 during the most recent months in February and March.
The average price for Volvo has had a strong rise in recent years. Between "before 2000" and 2010, the average price is ₱ 417,392.84. There was a significant inflation of the average price in "before 2000" (₱ 183,800) moving up till (₱ 665,800)in 2010. During the next two years (2011, 2012) the price for the aforementioned model has gone up strongly a 54 %. During the last two years, prices in the car industry have gone through a strong rise of 39 % compared to the average values for the previous 4 years. This was taken from studying the prices for the the preceding four years in previous sample (₱ 1,051,679.75) and the the last two years that have been analyzed (2013, 2015) with a price of ₱ 1,462,050.
The graph that displays the price for Volvo cars according to their mileage shows that those cars within a mileage range of "less than 10,000" are the ones with the lowest price. They are 32 % more affordable than the average price (₱ 766,613). Next with a price of ₱ 603,833 and a mileage range of "50,000 - 100,000" we would see the following vehicles. The mileage range for the most expensive cars is "10,000 - 25,000". It is 97% more costly than the average market value followed by those vehicles with a mileage of "100,000 - 200,000" and a price of ₱ 936,500.
The graph showing the average price for the fuel type for Volvo cars points out to "Gasoline" as being the cheapest fuel type. It is 57 % less expensive than the average market price (₱ 766,613) followed by "Diesel" priced at ₱ 452,300. On average the cheapest type of fuel is "Diesel". It´s price is 41 % more affordable than the average market value followed by "Gasoline" with a price of ₱ 332,692.
