Mini Vehicles have gone through a strong increase in their selling price recently. There has been a considerable inflation in the selling prices for this model.
The retail prices for Mini cars have gone through a strong rise during the last 6 months. During the first month analyzed in September the average price was ₱ 684,458. October went through a strong inflation with a rise in the price till ₱ 1,007,808. The average selling price has remained fairly constant during the following two months, going from ₱ 846,133 to ₱ 863,345. In the last two, the price has gone through a -7 % devaluation compared to the previous average values going down from ₱ 854,739 to ₱ 796,157 during January and February.
The average price for Mini has had a strong rise in recent years. Between 2007 and 2009, the average price is ₱ 218,777.67. There was a significant inflation of the average price in 2007 (₱ 180,000) moving up till (₱ 243,000)in 2009. During the next two years (2011, 2012) the price for the aforementioned model has gone up strongly a 121 %. During the last two years, prices in the car industry have gone through a strong rise of 55 % compared to the average values for the previous 4 years. This was taken from studying the prices for the the preceding four years in previous sample (₱ 1,069,440.25) and the the last two years that have been analyzed (2013, 2018) with a price of ₱ 1,654,666.5.
The graph that displays the price for Mini cars according to their mileage shows that those cars within a mileage range of "50,000 - 100,000" are the ones with the lowest price. They are 49 % more affordable than the average price (₱ 738,294). Next with a price of ₱ 540,455 and a mileage range of "less than 10,000" we would see the following vehicles. The mileage range for the most expensive cars is "25,000 - 50,000". It is 100% more costly than the average market value followed by those vehicles with a mileage of "10,000 - 25,000" and a price of ₱ 1,463,857.
The graph showing the average price for the fuel type for Mini cars points out to "Diesel" as being the cheapest fuel type. It is 75 % less expensive than the average market price (₱ 738,294) followed by "Gasoline" priced at ₱ 238,333. On average the cheapest type of fuel is "Gasoline". It´s price is 68 % more affordable than the average market value followed by "Diesel" with a price of ₱ 185,909.
