Mercedes Benz Vehicles have experienced a considerable decrease in their selling price recently. This model has gone through a strong reduction in its selling price.
The selling price for Mercedes Benz cars has had a strong depreciation during the last 6 months we have studied. In September the average price per vehicle is ₱ 8,313,025. During October the price went trough a strong deflation till ₱ 6,499,740. The following two months the selling price went through a strong reduction of -28 % compared to the previous two months studied. The average price has risen 14 % during the last two months. This result was obtained based on the price for the first four months (PRECIO1!) and the price (₱ 7,264,152.5) during January and February.
The average price for Mercedes Benz has had a strong rise in recent years. Between "before 2000" and 2020, the average price is ₱ 1,373,343. There was a significant inflation of the average price in "before 2000" (₱ 245,667) moving up till (₱ 5,550,000)in 2020. During the next two years (2021, 2022) the price for the aforementioned model has gone up strongly a 1171 %. During the last two years, prices in the car industry have gone up 14 % compared to the average values for the previous 4 years. This conclusion was reached from studying the prices for the the preceding four years in previous sample (₱ 20,409,688) and the the last two years that were studied (2023, 2024) with a price of ₱ 23,359,376.
The graph that displays the price for Mercedes Benz cars according to their mileage shows that those cars within a mileage range of "100,000 - 200,000" are the ones with the lowest price. They are 96 % more affordable than the average price (₱ 7,581,376). Next with a price of ₱ 919,025 and a mileage range of "50,000 - 100,000" we would see the following vehicles. The mileage range for the most affordable cars is "less than 10,000". It is 13% less expensive than the average market value followed by those cars with a mileage of "10,000 - 25,000" priced at ₱ 2,307,342.
The graph showing the average price for the fuel type for Mercedes Benz cars points out to "Diesel" as being the cheapest fuel type. It is 97 % less expensive than the average market price (₱ 7,581,376) followed by "Gasoline" priced at ₱ 602,477. On average the cheapest type of fuel is "Gasoline". It´s price is 92 % more affordable than the average market value followed by "Diesel" with a price of ₱ 250,774.
