Kia Sportage Vehicles have gone through a strong increase in their selling price recently. There has been a considerable inflation in the selling prices for this model.
The retail prices for Kia Sportage cars have gone through a strong rise during the last 6 months. During the first month analyzed in October the average price was ₱ 410,838. November went through a strong inflation with a rise in the price till ₱ 619,425. During the following two months (December, January) the average selling price experienced a noticeable rise, going up 17 % from ₱ 515,131.5 to ₱ 601,856.5. The average price has risen 7 % during the last two months. This result was obtained based on the price for the first four months (PRECIO1!) and the price (₱ 600,175) during February and March.
The average price for Kia Sportage has had a strong rise in recent years. Between "before 2000" and 2015, the average price is ₱ 351,436.41. There was a significant inflation of the average price in "before 2000" (₱ 109,231) moving up till (₱ 569,133)in 2015. During the next two years (2016, 2017) the price for the aforementioned model has gone up strongly a 141 %. During the last two years, the car industry has had a strong deflation in its selling prices of -21 % compared to the average values for the previous 4 years. This has been obtained from analysing the prices for the the preceding four years in a previous sample (₱ 699,437.5) and the the last two years (2019, 2021) with a price of ₱ 552,375.
The graph that displays the price for Kia Sportage cars according to their mileage shows that those cars within a mileage range of "100,000 - 200,000" are the ones with the lowest price. They are 59 % more affordable than the average price (₱ 801,769). Next with a price of ₱ 548,888 and a mileage range of "50,000 - 100,000" we would see the following vehicles. The mileage range for the most affordable cars is "10,000 - 25,000". It is 16% less expensive than the average market value followed by those cars with a mileage of "less than 10,000" priced at ₱ 643,213.
The graph showing the average price for the fuel type for Kia Sportage cars points out to "Diesel" as being the cheapest fuel type. It is 70 % less expensive than the average market price (₱ 801,769) followed by "Gasoline" priced at ₱ 488,900. On average the cheapest type of fuel is "Gasoline". It´s price is 39 % more affordable than the average market value followed by "Diesel" with a price of ₱ 243,508.
