Kia Rio Vehicles have gone through a strong increase in their selling price recently. There has been a considerable inflation in the selling prices for this model.
The retail prices for Kia Rio cars have gone through a strong rise during the last 6 months. In September the price for a car is ₱ 310,966 increasing till ₱ 331,695 in October. During the following two months (November, December) the average selling price experienced a noticeable rise, going up 33 % from ₱ 321,330.5 to ₱ 425,862. During the last couple of months, the average price has hardly changed, remaining the same going from ₱ 373,596.25 to ₱ 355,345.5 during January and February.
The average price for Kia Rio has had a strong rise in recent years. Between 2010 and 2012, the average price is ₱ 227,889. There was a significant inflation of the average price in 2010 (₱ 182,667) moving up till (₱ 336,000)in 2012. During the next two years (2013, 2014) the price for the aforementioned model has gone up strongly a 32 %. During the last two years, prices in the car industry have gone through a strong rise of 17 % compared to the average values for the previous 4 years. This was taken from studying the prices for the the preceding four years in previous sample (₱ 362,125) and the the last two years that have been analyzed (2015, 2016) with a price of ₱ 423,750.
The graph that displays the price for Kia Rio cars according to their mileage shows that those cars within a mileage range of "100,000 - 200,000" are the ones with the lowest price. They are 21 % more affordable than the average price (₱ 290,841). Next with a price of ₱ 234,500 and a mileage range of "50,000 - 100,000" we would see the following vehicles. The mileage range for the most expensive cars is "less than 10,000". It is 16% more costly than the average market value followed by those vehicles with a mileage of "25,000 - 50,000" and a price of ₱ 274,500.
The graph showing the average price for the fuel type for Kia Rio cars points out to "Diesel" as being the cheapest fuel type. It is 42 % less expensive than the average market price (₱ 290,841) followed by "Gasoline" priced at ₱ 334,526. On average the most expensive type of fuel is "Gasoline". It´s price is 15 % higher than the average market price followed by "Diesel" which costs ₱ 167,429.
