Honda City Vehicles have gone through a slight rise in their retail price recently. The prices for this particular model have risen.
The retail prices for Honda City cars have increased during the last 6 months. In October the price for a car is ₱ 748,613 increasing till ₱ 797,113 in November. During the following two months (December, January) the average selling price rose somewhat going from ₱ 772,863 to ₱ 815,381.5. The average price has risen 9 % during the last two months. This result was obtained based on the price for the first four months (PRECIO1!) and the price (₱ 863,654.5) during February and March.
The average price for Honda City has had a strong rise in recent years. Between "before 2000" and 2018, the average price is ₱ 311,894.44. There was a significant inflation of the average price in "before 2000" (₱ 99,375) moving up till (₱ 621,137)in 2018. During the next two years (2019, 2020) the price for the aforementioned model has gone up strongly a 114 %. During the last two years, prices in the car industry have gone up 12 % compared to the average values for the previous 4 years. This conclusion was reached from studying the prices for the the preceding four years in previous sample (₱ 760,604.5) and the the last two years that were studied (2021, 2022) with a price of ₱ 853,619.
The graph that displays the price for Honda City cars according to their mileage shows that those cars within a mileage range of "more than 200,000" are the ones with the lowest price. They are 82 % more affordable than the average price (₱ 989,185). Next with a price of ₱ 361,600 and a mileage range of "100,000 - 200,000" we would see the following vehicles. The mileage range for the most affordable cars is "less than 10,000". It is 10% less expensive than the average market value followed by those cars with a mileage of "10,000 - 25,000" priced at ₱ 712,948.
The graph showing the average price for the fuel type for Honda City cars points out to "Diesel" as being the cheapest fuel type. It is 76 % less expensive than the average market price (₱ 989,185) followed by "Gasoline" priced at ₱ 406,811. On average the cheapest type of fuel is "Gasoline". It´s price is 59 % more affordable than the average market value followed by "Diesel" with a price of ₱ 232,713.
