Ford Explorer Vehicles have gone through a strong increase in their selling price recently. There has been a considerable inflation in the selling prices for this model.
The retail prices for Ford Explorer cars have gone through a strong rise during the last 6 months. During the first month analyzed in October the average price was ₱ 1,363,012. November went through a strong inflation with a rise in the price till ₱ 1,783,932. During the following two months (December, January) the average selling price rose somewhat going from ₱ 1,573,472 to ₱ 1,747,969. During the last couple of months, the average price has hardly changed, remaining the same going from ₱ 1,660,720.5 to ₱ 1,657,456.5 during February and March.
The average price for Ford Explorer has had a strong rise in recent years. Between 2000 and 2014, the average price is ₱ 443,320.16. There was a significant inflation of the average price in 2000 (₱ 170,000) moving up till (₱ 1,022,300)in 2014. During the next two years (2015, 2016) the price for the aforementioned model has gone up strongly a 201 %. During the last two years, prices in the car industry have gone up 11 % compared to the average values for the previous 4 years. This conclusion was reached from studying the prices for the the preceding four years in previous sample (₱ 1,503,131) and the the last two years that were studied (2017, 2018) with a price of ₱ 1,674,076.5.
The graph that displays the price for Ford Explorer cars according to their mileage shows that those cars within a mileage range of "100,000 - 200,000" are the ones with the lowest price. They are 79 % more affordable than the average price (₱ 2,096,188). Next with a price of ₱ 1,197,213 and a mileage range of "50,000 - 100,000" we would see the following vehicles. The mileage range for the most affordable cars is "less than 10,000". It is 17% less expensive than the average market value followed by those cars with a mileage of "10,000 - 25,000" priced at ₱ 1,710,625.
The graph showing the average price for the fuel type for Ford Explorer cars points out to "Diesel" as being the cheapest fuel type. It is 88 % less expensive than the average market price (₱ 2,096,188) followed by "Gasoline" priced at ₱ 344,449. On average the cheapest type of fuel is "Gasoline". It´s price is 84 % more affordable than the average market value followed by "Diesel" with a price of ₱ 256,445.
