BMW 3 Series Vehicles have gone through a strong increase in their selling price recently. There has been a considerable inflation in the selling prices for this model.
The retail prices for BMW 3 Series cars have gone through a strong rise during the last 6 months. The average price for October is ₱ 427,887. During November there was a slight reduction in the selling prices dropping till ₱ 404,357. During the following two months (December, January) the average selling price experienced a noticeable rise, going up 114 % from ₱ 416,122 to ₱ 889,575.5. The average price has had spectacular rise of 63 % with an average price of ₱ 652,848.75 during the previous 4 months and ₱ 1,061,662.5 during the most recent months in February and March.
The average price for BMW 3 Series has had a strong rise in recent years. Between "before 2000" and 2009, the average price is ₱ 414,361.91. There was a significant inflation of the average price in "before 2000" (₱ 193,788) moving up till (₱ 627,333)in 2009. During the next two years (2010, 2011) the price for the aforementioned model has gone up strongly a 59 %. During the last two years, prices in the car industry have gone up 7 % compared to the average values for the previous 4 years. This conclusion was reached from studying the prices for the the preceding four years in previous sample (₱ 705,869.75) and the the last two years that were studied (2012, 2014) with a price of ₱ 754,034.
The graph that displays the price for BMW 3 Series cars according to their mileage shows that those cars within a mileage range of "100,000 - 200,000" are the ones with the lowest price. They are 75 % more affordable than the average price (₱ 1,314,275). Next with a price of ₱ 697,500 and a mileage range of "50,000 - 100,000" we would see the following vehicles. The mileage range for the most expensive cars is "10,000 - 25,000". It is 16% more costly than the average market value followed by those vehicles with a mileage of "less than 10,000" and a price of ₱ 768,363.
The graph showing the average price for the fuel type for BMW 3 Series cars points out to "Diesel" as being the cheapest fuel type. It is 86 % less expensive than the average market price (₱ 1,314,275) followed by "Gasoline" priced at ₱ 233,091. On average the cheapest type of fuel is "Gasoline". It´s price is 82 % more affordable than the average market value followed by "Diesel" with a price of ₱ 186,473.
