BMW Vehicles have gone through a strong increase in their selling price recently. There has been a considerable inflation in the selling prices for this model.
The retail prices for BMW cars have gone through a strong rise during the last 6 months. During the first month analyzed in October the average price was ₱ 3,212,787. November went through a strong inflation with a rise in the price till ₱ 3,875,262. The average selling price has remained fairly constant during the following two months, going from ₱ 3,544,024.5 to ₱ 3,703,824. The average price has risen 12 % during the last two months. This result was obtained based on the price for the first four months (PRECIO1!) and the price (₱ 4,064,543.5) during February and March.
The average price for BMW has had a strong rise in recent years. Between "before 2000" and 2017, the average price is ₱ 932,956.62. There was a significant inflation of the average price in "before 2000" (₱ 261,633) moving up till (₱ 2,576,960)in 2017. During the next two years (2018, 2019) the price for the aforementioned model has gone up strongly a 218 %. During the last two years, prices in the car industry have gone through a strong rise of 36 % compared to the average values for the previous 4 years. This was taken from studying the prices for the the preceding four years in previous sample (₱ 4,600,975) and the the last two years that have been analyzed (2020, 2021) with a price of ₱ 6,234,544.5.
The graph that displays the price for BMW cars according to their mileage shows that those cars within a mileage range of "100,000 - 200,000" are the ones with the lowest price. They are 93 % more affordable than the average price (₱ 5,936,337). Next with a price of ₱ 1,533,788 and a mileage range of "50,000 - 100,000" we would see the following vehicles. The mileage range for the most affordable cars is "less than 10,000". It is 9% less expensive than the average market value followed by those cars with a mileage of "10,000 - 25,000" priced at ₱ 3,001,775.
The graph showing the average price for the fuel type for BMW cars points out to "Gasoline" as being the cheapest fuel type. It is 94 % less expensive than the average market price (₱ 5,936,337) followed by "Diesel" priced at ₱ 570,951. On average the cheapest type of fuel is "Diesel". It´s price is 90 % more affordable than the average market value followed by "Gasoline" with a price of ₱ 351,225.
The graph displaying the average price for vehicles with doors shows that BMW automobiles with the cheapest price have 5 doors. They are 96 % cheaper than the average price for this model priced at ₱ 208,000. Cars with the lowest price have 3 doors and are 94 % cheaper than the average previously displayed.
